Our Story
In 1686, Conraedt Ten Eyck left the Netherlands for New Amsterdam, carrying his family name across the Atlantic. His son Jacob set down roots in Albany as a silversmith, hammering silver into vessels as beautiful as they were practical. From those beginnings grew a tradition of craftsmanship - and a legacy of creating elegance from nature’s raw abundance.
Over the centuries, the Ten Eycks left their mark across the Northeast. They built hotels where travelers found rest, planted apple orchards that turned autumns golden, and founded businesses that gave families security in uncertain times. In city halls and in Congress, they carried the name into public life, tying it as much to service as to enterprise. Streets and buildings still bear it — reminders of more than three hundred years of history.
In 2025, that heritage has found new expression in Ten Eyck Apparel. As Jacob once shaped silver, we now shape fabric — raw material turned into garments lasting, beautiful, and meant to be lived in. From seed-to-stitch, everything we create is designed, cut, and sewn in America. Ready-to-wear and couture pieces alike are built with timeless design, artistry, and attention to detail.
